Pre-Sales Consultant

Remote role based in Europe, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer.

THE ROLE

As Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the adoption of the Electron platform and supporting in pre-sales engagements with prospective customers.

The Electron Sales & Marketing teams will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success of both our customers and prospects by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, delivering product demonstrations and PoCs, and troubleshooting technical configuration issues. As a passionate technologist and customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to business value for the customer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively engage with potential customers and participate in pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations, proof of concept (POC) deployments, and technical discussions
  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process – creating sales collateral, proposals, and responding to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Works closely with the product development and engineering teams to understand the SaaS solution’s technical aspects and translate this into the product’s value proposition and address customer pain points.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Electronproducts by making technical contributions and by providing feedback from the field to Product Marketing and Engineering
  • Establish the best practices, documentation and KPIs needed to support the growth of the pre-sales and broader commercial team as Electron scales internationally.
  • Comply with Electron’s information security management system and applicable legislation and regulations.

KEY SKILLS

CUSTOMER
Enterprise software experience, with a strong skillset to establish trust with clients, and ability to influence decision makers in the sales cycle.

TECHNOLOGY
Experience with cloud technologies – iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure. Hands on experience with web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, integration architecture patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM etc.

Experience with trading platforms and underlying technology preferable but not essential.

PRESENTATION
Ability to lead architectural discussions, and a passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
