Electron, a leading energy blockchain platform solutions developer, is pleased to announce it has expanded its management team with the hire of Stina Brock as Senior Vice President to head up business development North America. The hire advances the company’s commitment to working with utilities and grid operators in North America to modernize the energy marketplace.
Brock will work with industry partners, utilities, and grid operators to bring Electron’s innovative solutions to energy markets to enable a more efficient and sustainable grid. Electron combines blockchain technology with deep energy industry expertise to build a platform that is the digital backbone for the modern energy marketplace. This democratic and inclusive system aims to connect and integrate millions of smaller energy assets (storage, EVs, solar panels) to energy markets to deliver cheaper, cleaner and more resilient energy systems for everyone.

Previously, Brock served as Senior Director of Global Utility and Grid Solutions with Sunverge Energy where she was responsible for developing Sunverge’s product and utility offerings and led teams consisting of product managers, analysts, data scientists, marketers and engineers. Brock had been with Sunverge since 2012 where, as an original member of the product team, she grew the company’s product to commercialization and helped to expand Sunverge’s customer base across North America and globally. Recently, she led Sunverge’s efforts to use blockchain technology to improve how distributed resources at the grid edge can provide value to utilities and energy markets. Prior to Sunverge, Brock led product marketing activities at Primus Power, a grid-scale energy storage startup based on advanced flow battery technology, and managed utility program operations at EnerNOC, a smart grid and demand response industry leader.
