Meet the team attending
Jo-Jo co-founded Electron to help integrate DERs into energy markets. Jo-Jo is a recognised international speaker on the topic of driving flexibility markets, at scale. She has sat on expert advisory boards for Ofgem, National Grid ESO, and the UK Department for Energy and Net Zero, and contributes to the New York State’s Flexibility Market Design and Integration work stream. She’s been listed in “FT: Top 30 Female Entrepreneurs” and Energy Digitals “UK Top 10 Women in Energy”.
With over a decade of experience in energy, Chris has a passion for driving the adoption of disruptive technologies that can accelerate the transition to Net Zero. His past experiences have spanned across supply, consultancy, and technology, as well as advisory roles for the UK Government’s Net Zero Energy Council.
Nick Huntbatch, Chief Product Officer at Electron, oversees the development of market platform, ElectronConnect. He has spent the last 15 years building and taking to market world-class, high-impact software. Nick specialises in highly technical, multi-stakeholder B2B software platforms in the energy sector, and has provided solutions to thousands of users across hundreds of organisations of all sizes.
Having spent most of her career driving national and international growth in energy and tech companies, Emma is now focused on supporting the growth of Electron in the UK, Europe, and US. Emma has a passion for value-add tech, and sharing the story of flexibility marketplaces and the role that Electron’s innovative and integrated flex trading platform plays in driving Net Zero grid optimisation.
Mark Rawson, Senior VP of North America at Electron, spent 30 years in the energy sector, from shaping California’s renewable energy policies at the California Energy Commission to leading research, storage and microgrid projects at SMUD, and most recently served as COO of Rhythmos building its data analytics platform.
Mark has been developing innovative solutions that fuse software, power systems, and DERs for over a decade. He’s overseen and built both DERMS and grid analytics products from scratch, successfully scaled multiple smart grid startups; and previously served as SVP Products and Analytics at Rhythmos.
