How is Electron involved? Chris Broadhurst, Electron CCO, will attend to hear how the energy industry is adapting to the load growth AI is driving, as well as the opportunities it represents.
DERVOS 2025

What’s the event about? DERVOS 2025, hosted by the DER Taskforce, is a one-day gathering of energy professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, regulators and academics, featuring panels, a demo day, and evening social events, all focused on bleeding-edge developments in distributed energy resources.
How is Electron involved? Chris Broadhurst, Electron CCO, will join conversations around how DERs can contribute to a resilient and low-cost grid.
ESIG: 2025 Fall Technical Workshop
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
27-30 October 2025
What’s the event about? The 2025 fall technical workshop by ESIG is a three-day deep dive into integrating grid reliability services, system planning and operations, large loads, and emerging technologies, with tutorials, breakout sessions, working group meetings, and plenty of networking.
How is Electron involved? Chris Broadhurst, Electron CCO, will join a panel on the topic of “What are the new needs in distribution planning and operations to enable flexibility and grid services from DERs on both transmission and distribution services?” at 8:00-9:45am on 29 October.
SP Electricity North West: Distribution System Operation (DSO) conference

What’s the event about? This bi-annual gathering shares SP Electricity North West’s plans in flexibility and data over the past and coming six months, exploring how enhanced transparency and flexible services are delivering value.
How is Electron involved? Harrison Leaf, Electron’s Acting COO, will join a panel on the day to share industry learnings.

Climate Week NYC 2025
New York City, New York
21 – 28 September 2025
What’s the event about? Climate Week NYC is the world’s biggest annual climate gathering, uniting leaders and communities across 900+ events to accelerate action and celebrate progress in the global transition.
How is Electron involved? Our CEO and Co-Founder, Jo-Jo Hubbard, attended various sessions during the week, aiming to share and pick up insights into the role of flexibility in the energy transition.
Flexcon 2025
Brussels, Belgium
24 – 25 September 2025
What’s the event about? Europe’s leading demand-side flexibility event, which gathers 500+ experts in Brussels for two days of sessions, innovation showcases, and networking to accelerate the clean energy transition.
How is Electron involved? Two of our team members took to the stage. Harrison Leaf, Acting COO, explored low-friction paths to flexibility standardisation while Nick Huntbatch, CPO, shared how “learning by doing” is powering flexibility in the UK. Ayan Kanhai Aman, Policy and Markets Lead, and Emma Lovell, Head of Marketing, also attended the event.
IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting 2025

What’s the event about? The 2025 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting will bring together practicing power engineers and academics from all over the world. The conference aims to provide a forum for experts to promote, share, and discuss various issues and developments in electrical power engineering.
How is Electron involved? Our CCO, Chris Broadhurst, joined the panel “Load Forecasting and Grid-Edge Flexibility: Key Elements of Integrated Grid Planning”.
AESP’s FlexConnect

What’s the event about? AESP’s Flex Connect is focused on the integration of energy efficiency, demand flexibility, and distributed energy resources to create smarter, integrated solutions.
How is Electron involved? Our CCO, Chris Broadhurst, was joined by Julieta Giraldez, Director of Integrated Grid Planning at EPE, in the session “Beyond Planning: How to Orchestrate the Full Value of DERs” on Thursday, August 14, at 2:45pm.
